MHCC will host a self-defense awareness seminar for women. The seminar will be lead by MHCC member Tony Venneri and is open to all women 21 years of age and older. Tony has been leading this seminar for a number of years and has more than two decades of Martial Arts experience.

This program is designed specifically to increase womens’ awareness of potential threats to their safety and to provide simple techniques that can be used to avoid, de-escalate or escape a potentially dangerous situation. Attendees will learn how to use everyday items for self-defense purposes. Please note that there will be no firearms or martial arts training in this no-contact session.

This is not a fear-based seminar. This program’s goal is to provide women with realistic and practical skills for self defense and to create awareness and empowerment through knowledge in a relaxed and open atmosphere.

Cost: $30 cash, payable to Tony at the seminar.
